About Us - The Button Pushers

Nate

Nate knows things about TV. He knows why Rose Nyland is from St Olaf, he knows the lyrics to the theme song from Step By Step, he knows the plots and subplots of almost every episode of MASH, but he still doesn’t know why T-Bone was called T-Bone. He was raised by television, a 19 inch 1974 Zenith to be exact. Sadly, in the middle of Eddie Rabbit’s performance during the 16th hour of the Jerry Lewis telethon in 1983 he accidentally broke the knob off while dancing and was subsequently forced to use pliers to change the channel. The television died during an electrical storm in 1987, it left an Atari 2600 and a ten year old little boy behind but the memories will live forever.

Jim

Jim is a creative director for an advertising agency. He writes scripts for television ads, so he's a huge fan of classic TV. And since he actually was born in the fifties, he basically grew up in front of family's black and white TV with the manual channel selector and the old-school rabbit ears. He doesn't even have to research this stuff. He still remembers it. Faves include The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Flintstones, McHale's Navy, Burke's Law, Perry Mason and Outer Limits.

Clark

Clark's highly sensitive to sunlight, suffers from allergies and is extremely shy so he spends a great deal of time inside watching and researching classic television. He considers it his calling. If Jim's Carson, then Clark's his Ed - handling all the news, gossip, and daily updates. His personal faves are Get Smart, Green Acres and Transformers. Jim's working on getting Clark to stop starting every excuse with "would you believe?"
